Mary Lee Fornes, DVM - Hospital Owner

Home-grown from the Springville-Boston area, Dr. Fornes is a 1993 graduate of Cornell University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She has served in the Army Reserve as a Captain and has been deployed overseas to both Bosnia and Iraq.

Her professional interests are in Emergency Medicine, Surgery and Imaging. Prior to opening the doors to Boston Valley Animal Hospital she worked in many hospitals, and was able to take from those positions invaluable information that has led to the success and family friendly culture that we pride ourselves on here at the hospital. 

When she isn't at the hospital she enjoys spending time gardening, pursuing an interest in dog breeding and enjoying fresh eggs provided by her chickens.



Jenni Tudini, DVM, MRCVS - Associate Veterinarian

Dr Jenni Tudini is a 2007 graduate of St George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine. She successfully achieved certification through the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK and was a small animal veterinarian in England before moving to New York in 2009 to be with her husband whom she met at university and who is also a veterinarian.

She has a particular interest in Internal Medicine with a focus on Endocrinology and Gastroenterology. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery and has received further training in the use of Endoscopy for both diagnostic and treatment purposes. She is keen to educate clients and to help them understand the issues at hand with their animals in both preventative care and treatment aspects. She is a member of the AVMA and RCVS.

Dr Tudini also enjoys managing the health care needs of small mammal companions including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets etc

When she isn't at the hospital, she enjoys time with her husband and three children living life on their small farm. 



James Tudini Jr, DVM - Associate Veterinarian

Dr Jim Tudini attended SUNY at Buffalo for his undergraduate degree in Biology prior to attending St George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine from where he graduated in 2008. He is a member of the AVMA, NYSVMS and WNYVMA.

His professional interests include Emergency Medicine and Surgery (particularly Orthopedics), pain management and dentistry. He is an Emergency Clinician at the Buffalo Veterinary Emergency Clinic and also practices part time at our hospital where he performs orthopedic surgery and works as a general practitioner. 

He is a third generation Buffalonian and enjoys golfing, geocaching, small scale farming and spending time with his family.
